Excellent for small game
It is an excellent choice for small game, and would be lethal on a deer with proper shot placement at close ranges. It is an ideal projectile for introducing a young person toslug shooting, or simply to expand the horizons of an oftenoverlooked classic shotgun. It can do double duty for home defense, too.
